Und auch wenn es nicht einmal einen Meter misst, ist es eine der beliebtesten Br\u00fcssel Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten, die den Belgiern seit jeher gro\u00dfe Freude bereitet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Manneken Pis befindet sich an der Ecke <strong>Rue de l&#8217;Etuve<\/strong> und <strong>Rue des Grands Carmes<\/strong> und entstand 1619. Damals ahnte wohl nicht einmal J\u00e9r\u00f4me Duquesnoy, der den frechen Buben anfertigte, zu welcher Ber\u00fchmtheit es die kleine Statue einmal schaffen w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n<h3>Ganz sch\u00f6n beliebt<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Denn nicht nur die Br\u00fcsseler fanden Gefallen an Manneken Pis, sondern auch viele Diebe. Und so wurde die Statue bereits mehrere Male gestohlen. Seit 1965 ist daher nicht mehr das <strong>Original Manneken Pis<\/strong> in Br\u00fcssel zu sehen, sondern eine Kopie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wer den echten wasserlassenden Bub sehen will, besucht das Museum \u201e<strong>Maison du Roi<\/strong>\u201c. Dort sind \u00fcbrigens auch seine Kost\u00fcme ausgestellt. Denn zu feierlichen Anl\u00e4ssen wie einem Spiel der belgischen Fu\u00dfballnationalmannschaft, wird die Bronzefigur verkleidet.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tipp_center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Schon gewusst?<\/strong> Der Legende nach steht Manneken Pis \u00fcbrigens f\u00fcr Respektlosigkeit und Mut. Auf diese Weise l\u00e4sst sich Belgiens ber\u00fchmtestes Bauwerk und unser Platz 2 der beliebtesten Br\u00fcssel Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten wohl am besten beschreiben.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Beim <strong>Atomium<\/strong> handelt es sich um eine 102 m hohe Stahlkonstruktion, die einen 165 milliardenfach vergr\u00f6\u00dfertes Eisenkristall darstellt. Es besteht aus 9 gigantischen Kugeln (mit je 18 m Durchmesser) und aus mehreren 23 m langen R\u00f6hren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Errichtet wurde das Atomium anl\u00e4sslich der Weltausstellung 1958. Der futuristische Bau sollte zum einen den wissenschaftlichen und technischen Fortschritt huldigen und zum anderen den demokratischen Willen, den Frieden zwischen den Nationen zu pflegen bzw. zu wahren.<\/p>\n<h3>Im Inneren der Kugeln<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bei einem Besuch lassen sich 5 der 9 Kugeln begehen. In der obersten von ihnen befindet sich ein Restaurant, in dem es sich nicht nur gut speisen l\u00e4sst. Mit seiner wundersch\u00f6nen Fassade ist das Rathaus eines der sch\u00f6nsten Geb\u00e4ude der Stadt.<\/p>\n<h3>Das Schmuckst\u00fcck am Grand Place<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das Besondere an ihm: Seine Fassade ist extrem reich und detailliert verziert. Zusammen mit dem gro\u00dfen schlanken Glockentrum und dem Belfried sticht das Rathaus deutlich aus dem Geb\u00e4udeensemble des Grand Place hervor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Auch der Belfried des Rathauses ist sehr reich verziert und pr\u00e4chtig gestaltet. Das liegt vor allem daran, dass er sch\u00f6ner und repr\u00e4sentabler sein sollte als der <strong>Belfried von Br\u00fcgge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zu sehen sind auch viele Skulpturen und eine goldene Figur, die den Schutzpartron Br\u00fcssels, den Erzengel Michael, darstellt, der mit einem Drachen k\u00e4mpft.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tipp_center\"><strong>Tipp:<\/strong> Lassen Sie sich eine F\u00fchrung im Inneren dieser beeindruckenden Br\u00fcssel Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeit nicht entgehen.
