Er ist das <strong>Wahrzeichen Helsinkis<\/strong> und wird von den Finnen auch als \u201eWei\u00dfes Herz\u201c der Stadt bezeichnet. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das liegt zum einen an seiner Lage. Zum anderen an seiner Farbe. Die \u201e<strong>Tuomiokirkko<\/strong>\u201c in strahlendem Wei\u00df wurde auf einem Sockel im Zentrum der Stadt erbaut. Dadurch ist der Dom von Helsinki bereits aus der Ferne sehr gut sichtbar.<\/p>\n<h3>Schlicht und geradlinig<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wer mit der F\u00e4hre im <strong>Hafen Helsinki<\/strong> einf\u00e4hrt, wird daher auch als erstes das Wei\u00dfe Herz Helsinkis zu sehen bekommen. Das Bauwerk steht am <strong>Senatsplatz<\/strong> und wurde zwischen 1829 und 1850 erbaut. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gestaltet wurde der Helsinki Dom im klassizistischen Baustil.
