Jahrhundert. In dem Anwesen residierten seitdem zahlreiche Herrscher der Stadt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus diente es mit seiner doppelten Ringmauer und den m\u00e4chtigen Bastionen als Verteidigungsanlage. Heute gilt die Alcazaba als der am besten und vollst\u00e4ndigsten erhaltene maurische Festungsbau in ganz Spanien.<\/p>\n<h3>Besichtigung des Burginneren<\/h3>\n<p>Im Herzen des Palastes ist eine <strong>kleine Moschee<\/strong> verborgen. Dazu finden Sie bei einem Rundgang durch das Anwesen zahlreiche rekonstruierte Bauteile im maurischen Stil. Verschiedene Innenh\u00f6fe und G\u00e4rten laden dazwischen zum Flanieren ein.<\/p>\n<h3>Das Teatro Romano<\/h3>\n<p>Gleich neben dem Haupttor der Alcazaba steht ein <strong>antikes r\u00f6misches Theater<\/strong> aus dem 2. Obwohl sie erst im 14. Jahrhundert und somit deutlich sp\u00e4ter als die Alcazaba erbaut wurde, ist sie leider nicht ganz so gut erhalten. Zu sehen gibt es hier trotzdem so einiges.<\/p>\n<h3>Befestigung der Stadt<\/h3>\n<p>Bereits vor dem Bau der Burg stand an gleicher Stelle eine <strong>ph\u00f6nizische Befestigungsanlage<\/strong>, auf deren Fundamenten der maurische Sultan Yusuf I. das Castillo errichten lie\u00df. 1487 wurde dieses nach einer dreimonatigen Belagerung bezwungen und Malaga fiel an Kastilien. Anschlie\u00dfend wurde das Castillo noch weiter ausgebaut.<\/p>\n<h3>Das Beste: Der Blick<\/h3>\n<p>Die <strong>Ringmauern des Castillos<\/strong> sind fast vollst\u00e4ndig begehbar und bieten eine tolle Aussicht \u00fcber die Stadt, das Meer und das andalusische Hinterland. Pablo Diego Jos\u00e9 Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Mar\u00eda de los Remedios Cipriano de la Sant\u00edsima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso, wie er mit vollem Namen hei\u00dft, wurde 1881 hier in Malaga geboren.<\/p>\n<h3>Umfangreiche Ausstellung<\/h3>\n<p>Seit 2003 werden \u00fcber <strong>200 Werke Picassos<\/strong> in den R\u00e4umlichkeiten des Palacio de Buenavista ausgestellt. Dazu geh\u00f6ren Gem\u00e4lde, Skulpturen und Keramiken, die er \u00fcber die vielen Jahrzehnte eines Schaffens hinweg anfertigte.<\/p>\n<h3>Schon das Geb\u00e4ude ist sehenswert<\/h3>\n<p>Der <strong>Palacio de Buenavista<\/strong> stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Gebaut wurde er von einer adligen Familie. Neben der Picasso-Ausstellung ist auch sein Keller interessant. Hier wurden bei Ausgrabungen architektonische \u00dcberreste aus mehreren tausend Jahren Stadtgeschichte gefunden, wie zum Beispiel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reste der ph\u00f6nizischen Stadtmauern<\/li>\n<li>Eine r\u00f6mische Manufaktur zur Herstellung von Fischsauce<\/li>\n<li>Fundamente eines maurischen Palastes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Durch einen durchsichtigen Fu\u00dfboden im Erdgeschoss k\u00f6nnen diese Relikte begutachtet werden.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tipp_center\"><strong>Schon gewusst?<\/strong> Das Geburtshaus von Picasso befindet sich nur einen Katzensprung vom Museo Picasso entfernt. Oder sie \u00fcbernehmen den Spitznamen, den die Einheimischen der Kathedrale verpasst haben: \u201eLa Manquita\u201c, was so viel wie \u201ekleine einarmige Dame\u201c bedeutet.<\/p>\n<h3>Ein nie vollendeter Turm<\/h3>\n<p>Der Spitzname beruht auf der Tatsache, dass von den urspr\u00fcnglich zwei geplanten T\u00fcrmen der Kathedrale nur einer vervollst\u00e4ndigt wurde. Der <strong>S\u00fcdturm ist bis heute nur ein Stumpf<\/strong>. Eine Plakette informiert dar\u00fcber, dass die B\u00fcrger Malagas damals beschlossen h\u00e4tten, das Geld f\u00fcr den zweiten Turm lieber den nordamerikanischen Kolonien f\u00fcr ihren Unabh\u00e4ngigkeitskrieg zu spenden.<\/p>\n<h3>Stilmix<\/h3>\n<p>Abgesehen von dem unfertigen Turm hat die Kathedrale noch einige andere <strong>architektonische Eigenheiten<\/strong>. Urspr\u00fcnglich begannen die christlichen Eroberer im Jahr 1528 mit dem Bau der Kathedrale oberhalb einer Moschee. Von dem Ort aus, an dem heute die Kirche steht, befahl er die erfolgreiche \u00dcbernahme der Stadt. Damit erhielt die Jungfrau des Sieges ihren Namen.<\/p>\n<h3>Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten der Kirche<\/h3>\n<p>Die Basilika wurde im 17. Jahrhundert gebaut. Die Statue der Jungfrau schm\u00fcckt den Schrein, der zu ihren Ehren errichtet wurde.
