Er bildet die gr\u00f6\u00dfte zusammenh\u00e4ngende <strong>Jugendstilanlage<\/strong> Deutschlands.<\/p>\n<h3>Parkidylle um den Wasserturm<\/h3>\n<p>Der Friedrichsplatz, auf dem der Wasserturm steht, ist eine <strong>kleine Parkanlage<\/strong> mit h\u00fcbschen Arkadeng\u00e4ngen, Wasserfont\u00e4nen und Sandsteinfiguren aus der griechischen Mythologie. Es stammt von 1720 und geh\u00f6rt heute gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils zu der Universit\u00e4t von Mannheim. Ein kleiner Abschnitt im Mittelteil wird au\u00dferdem als Schlossmuseum genutzt.<\/p>\n<h3>Leben am kurf\u00fcrstlichen Hof<\/h3>\n<p>Zu der <strong>Ausstellung des Schlossmuseums<\/strong> geh\u00f6ren einige historische Innenr\u00e4ume, die originalgetreu restauriert wurden. \u00dcber 800 Exponate informieren \u00fcber das einstige Leben und den Alltag auf dem kurf\u00fcrstlichen Schloss.<\/p>\n<h3>Schlosskapelle<\/h3>\n<p>Am Eingang zum prunkvollen Ehrenhof steht die kleine Schlosskirche, in deren Gruft sich das <strong>Grabmal des Kurf\u00fcrsten<\/strong> und seiner Gattin befinden. Es zeigt mittlerweile eine bunte Mischung aus Galerien, Studentenwohnungen, Restaurants und Bars.<\/p>\n<h3>Ansiedlung der K\u00fcnstler<\/h3>\n<p>Die Wandlung zum Szeneviertel kam vor allem durch die <strong>Ansiedlung vieler Kunstschaffender<\/strong> in Jungbusch zustande. So gilt der Stadtteil inzwischen als kreatives Herz von Mannheim. Trotz der vielen Neuerungen hat sich Jungbusch aber seine Industrieromantik bewahrt.<\/p>\n<h3>Zentrum des Nachtlebens<\/h3>\n<p>Vor allem nachts trifft sich die junge und junggebliebene Bev\u00f6lkerung von Mannheim in den vielen Bars und Kneipen von Jungbusch.
