Dieser sogenannte <strong>Wurstelprater<\/strong> bietet rund 250 verschiedene Attraktionen, von Geisterbahnen \u00fcber Kasperletheater bis hin zu Schie\u00dfbuden.<\/p>\n<h3>Historisches Riesenrad<\/h3>\n<p>Die bekannteste Attraktion ist das <strong>Riesenrad<\/strong> des Praters, das sich bereits seit \u00fcber 100 Jahren zuverl\u00e4ssig um die eigene Achse dreht. Erbaut wurde es 1897 zum 50. Thronjubil\u00e4um von Kaiser Franz Joseph. Am h\u00f6chsten Punkt erreicht es eine H\u00f6he von 65 m und bietet einen unvergleichlichen Blick \u00fcber die Stadt. Eine Fahrt ist Pflicht f\u00fcr jeden Wienbesucher!<\/p>\n<h3>Die andere Seite des Praters<\/h3>\n<p>Auch wenn die meisten Besucher Wiens bei Prater vor allem an den Vergn\u00fcgungspark und das Riesenrad denken, so geh\u00f6rt zu dem Gel\u00e4nde doch noch einiges mehr. So ist ein gro\u00dfer Teil des Areals bis heute eine idyllische <strong>Auenlandschaft<\/strong>, in der Sie wunderbar entspannte Spazierg\u00e4nge unternehmen k\u00f6nnen. Sie gilt als die gr\u00f6\u00dfte vollst\u00e4ndig erhaltene <strong>mittelalterliche Burganlage<\/strong> in Europa.<\/p>\n<h3>Tausend Jahre Geschichte<\/h3>\n<p>Der Baubeginn der Festung Hohensalzburg wird auf das Jahr 1077 datiert. Bereits ein Jahrhundert sp\u00e4ter erreichte sie ihre heutige Ausdehnung von rund 7.000 m\u00b2 bebauter Fl\u00e4che. In den folgenden Jahrhunderten folgten immer wieder An- und Umbauten der Festungsanlage, bis die Burg schlie\u00dflich <strong>in ein Museum umgewandelt<\/strong> wurde.<\/p>\n<h3>Einblick in die Burggeschichte<\/h3>\n<p>Eine Besichtigung der Burg f\u00fchrt durch zahlreiche original hergerichtete Zimmer mit detailreicher Wand- und Deckenverzierung sowie vorbei an unz\u00e4hligen mittelalterlichen Exponaten. Jahrhundert und ist seit 1365 Domkirche.<\/p>\n<h3>Imposanter Kirchenbau<\/h3>\n<p>Der Stephansdom ist eine gotische Kirche mit einer entsprechend reich verzierten Fassade. Pr\u00e4gnant sind seine vier T\u00fcrme, von denen der <strong>S\u00fcdturm<\/strong> mit 136 m am h\u00f6chsten ist. Dieser kann von Besuchern bestiegen werden. Das Goldene Dachl ist ein <strong>Prunkerker am Neuen Hof<\/strong> und vermutlich das meistfotografierte Motiv der Innsbrucker Altstadt.<\/p>\n<h3>Die Geschichte des Daches<\/h3>\n<p>Der Neue Hof stammt bereits aus 1420 und wurde von den Tiroler Landesf\u00fcrsten errichtet. 180 Jahre sp\u00e4ter beauftragte Kaiser Maximilian I. aus Anlass der Jahrhundertwende den Bau des Prunkerkers. \u00dcber <strong>2.650 feuervergoldete Kupferschindeln<\/strong> wurden verwendet, um das gl\u00e4nzende Dachl zu errichten. Die Fassade ist geschm\u00fcckt mit Reliefs von Maximilian I. und seinen Frauen, ebenso wie seinem Kanzler, Hofnarr und Wappen.<\/p>\n<h3>Verwandlung in Museum<\/h3>\n<p>Seit 1996 befindet sich im Neuen Hof ein <strong>Museum<\/strong>, dass \u00fcber die Geschichte des Hauses und nat\u00fcrlich des Prunkerkers informiert. Ein Besuch im Schloss Belvedere ist wahrlich ein Fest f\u00fcr alle Architektur- und Kunstfreunde.<\/p>\n<h3>Die Schlossanlage<\/h3>\n<p>Schloss Belvedere wurde in dem Zeitraum von 1697 bis 1723 von Prinz Eugen von Savoyen errichtet. Es besteht aus <strong>einem Oberen und einem Unteren Belvedere<\/strong>, die von einer gro\u00dfen Gartenanlage umgeben sind. Diese stammt sogar schon von 1700 und ist somit der \u00e4lteste Teil des Schlosses. Zahlreiche Brunnen und Skulpturen schm\u00fccken die pr\u00e4chtigen Parkanlagen.<\/p>\n<h3>Das Museum<\/h3>\n<p>Schloss Belvedere beherbergt inzwischen die bedeutendste <strong>Sammlung \u00f6sterreichischer Kunst<\/strong>.
