Die Sagrada Familia ragt jedoch unter allen anderen Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten heraus \u2013 im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes: Nach ihrer Fertigstellung wird die Sagrada Familia die <strong>h\u00f6chste Kathedrale der Welt<\/strong> sein. <\/p>\n<h3>Einzigartiger Kirchenbau<\/h3>\n<p>Der Bau der Sagrada Familia begann 1882 und ist bis heute nicht fertiggestellt. Ihre Vollendung ist f\u00fcr 2026 geplant, zum 100. Todestag ihres Architekten <strong>Antonio Gaud\u00ed<\/strong>. Dieser entwarf die Kathedrale im neukatalanischen Stil und f\u00fcgte zahlreiche architektonische Besonderheiten hinzu. <\/p>\n<h3>Gaud\u00eds Meisterwerk<\/h3>\n<p>Besonders die <strong>Au\u00dfenfassaden<\/strong> der Sagrada Familia sind ber\u00fchmt, wie die Apsisfassade und die Geburtsfassade. Sie stellen verschiedenste Szenen aus der Bibel dar. Das Innere der Kirche muss sich ebenfalls nicht verstecken. Ber\u00fchmt geworden ist sie aufgrund der <strong>steinzeitlichen H\u00f6hlenmalereien<\/strong>, die in ihrem Inneren entdeckt wurden. Die \u00fcber 900 Malereien von haupts\u00e4chlich Hirschen, Pferden und Wildschweinen brachten der H\u00f6hle ihren Status als UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe ein. <\/p>\n<h3>Pr\u00e4historische Zeugnisse<\/h3>\n<p>Die \u00e4ltesten Zeichnungen in der H\u00f6hle gehen zur\u00fcck bis <strong>16.000 v. Chr.<\/strong> Durch einen Einsturz 11.000 v. Chr. wurde die H\u00f6hle jedoch versch\u00fcttet und erst 1868 zuf\u00e4llig wiederentdeckt. Die Malereien wurden erst elf Jahre sp\u00e4ter gefunden und zun\u00e4chst als Betrug abgetan, bis man schlie\u00dflich 1902 ihre wissenschaftliche Bedeutung anerkannte. <\/p>\n<h3>Nachbau im Museum<\/h3>\n<p>Seit den 1970er Jahren ist eine Besichtigung der Originalh\u00f6hle nur noch f\u00fcr ausgew\u00e4hltes Fachpublikum m\u00f6glich, da viele Malereien durch die Atemluft der vielen Besucher besch\u00e4digt wurden. Die Klosteranlage ist nicht nur wegen ihres tollen Panoramas bekannt, da sie hier aus 721 m H\u00f6he einen atemberaubenden Blick \u00fcber das Hinterland Kataloniens haben. Auch das Klostermuseum mit seiner Gem\u00e4ldesammlung zieht zahlreiche Besucher an. <\/p>\n<h3>Umfangreiche Kunstsammlung<\/h3>\n<p>Heute leben noch etwa 80 M\u00f6nche in dem vor knapp eintausend Jahren gegr\u00fcndeten Kloster. Dazu kommen die zahlreichen Besucher, die vor allem das Museum des Klosters besuchen, in dem Werke von K\u00fcnstlern wie Dali oder El Greco ausgestellt sind. Am bekanntesten ist jedoch die <strong>Mariendarstellung \u201eUnsere Liebe Frau von Montserrat\u201c<\/strong> aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. <\/p>\n<h3>Klosteraufenthalt<\/h3>\n<p>Erreichen k\u00f6nnen Sie das Kloster \u00fcber eine Seilbahn oder zu Fu\u00df \u00fcber den traditionellen Pilgerpfad, der etwa zwei Stunden in Anspruch nimmt. Oben angekommen, k\u00f6nnen Sie sich im klostereigenen Restaurant st\u00e4rken. Auch eine <strong>\u00dcbernachtung auf dem Klostergel\u00e4nde<\/strong> ist m\u00f6glich; entweder in dem angeschlossenen Hotel oder direkt im Kloster in einer modernisierten ehemaligen M\u00f6nchszelle. <\/p>\n<div class=\"tipp_center\"><strong>Tipp:<\/strong> Wenn Sie schon mal im Montserrat-Gebirge sind, besuchen Sie auch den Gipfel des Montserrats, der etwa 300m vom Kloster entfernt ist.
