Den Aufstieg zur Kirche nimmt man dabei am besten gleich morgens in Angriff, wenn es noch nicht so hei\u00df ist. Auf einer Fl\u00e4che von vier Hektar erstrecken sich die antiken Ruinen, von denen die \u00e4ltesten auf das 7. Jahrhundert v. Chr. zur\u00fcckgehen. Entdeckt wurde diese arch\u00e4ologische St\u00e4tte erst in der 1980er Jahren, seit 1999 ist sie <strong>UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Eindruck vom Leben der Antike<\/h3>\n<p>Teilweise lassen sich an den \u00dcberresten der ehemaligen Mauern noch die <strong>Umrisse der einstigen H\u00e4user<\/strong> erkennen. Zudem wurden hier zahlreiche Reliquien gefunden, wie beispielsweise die Reste eines Ofens.
