Das Haus, das als Versammlungsort der gleichnamigen <strong>Bruderschaft<\/strong> und der deutschen B\u00fcrgerschaft diente, wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg fast vollst\u00e4ndig zerst\u00f6rt. <\/p>\n<h3>Komplett neu aufgebaut<\/h3>\n<p>Die Rekonstruktion wurde dann im Jahr 1999 abgeschlossen. Seitdem lockt das Haus wieder zahlreiche Besucher aus aller Welt an. Neben der beeindruckenden <strong>Fassade<\/strong> entdecken Urlauber heute auch im Inneren einiges Sehenswertes. So beherbergt das Schwarzh\u00e4upterhaus ein <strong>Touristenb\u00fcro<\/strong>, ein Caf\u00e9 sowie Originalst\u00fccke des ehemaligen Geb\u00e4udes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tipp_center\"> Die Bruderschaft bestand aus unverheirateten Kaufleuten und war in seiner Form einzigartig in Europa. Heute dienen das Freiheitsdenkmal und die gleichnamige Stra\u00dfe au\u00dferdem als Veranstaltungs- und Versammlungsort. So auch jedes Jahr am 18. November, wenn die Letten ihren <strong>Nationalfeiertag<\/strong> begehen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tipp_center\"><strong>Interessant:<\/strong> Das Denkmal sollte abgetragen werden als es angeblich bauf\u00e4llig wurde.
