Sie wurde 1067 von dem sagenumwobenen Grafen Ludwig dem Springer gegr\u00fcndet. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde die Wartburg wiederaufgebaut und ist seit 1999 als \u201ehervorragendes Denkmal der feudalen Epoche in Mitteleuropa\u201c <strong>UNESCO Weltkulturerbe<\/strong>. Dabei handelt es sich um eine <strong>mittelalterliche Befestigung<\/strong>, die aus drei einzelnen Burgen besteht. Zusammen bilden sie eine der gr\u00f6\u00dften Burgenanlagen Deutschlands.<\/p>\n<h3>Kyffh\u00e4userdenkmal<\/h3>\n<p>Das ber\u00fchmte Kyffh\u00e4userdenkmal thront \u00fcber den Ruinen der alten Reichsburg Kyffhausen und wird auch als <strong>Barbarossadenkmal<\/strong> bezeichnet. Er ist damit das <strong>gr\u00f6\u00dfte zusammenh\u00e4ngende Laubwaldgebiet Deutschlands<\/strong> und der einzige Nationalpark in Th\u00fcringen. Ziel des Hainichs ist der Schutz des heimischen Buchenwaldes \u2013 er soll sich zudem zu einem Urwald entwickeln, in dem man der Natur freien Lauf l\u00e4sst. Der Nationalpark Hainich z\u00e4hlt zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe.<\/p>\n<h3>Der Baumkronenpfad im Nationalpark Hainich<\/h3>\n<p>Der Baumkronenpfad im nord\u00f6stlichen Teil des Hainich f\u00fchrt auf einer L\u00e4nge von 530 m bis \u00fcber die Wipfel der Laubb\u00e4ume. Bei einem Besuch k\u00f6nnen Sie den Baumkronenpfad entweder <strong>auf eigene Faust oder im Rahmen einer F\u00fchrung<\/strong> erkunden. Inmitten von Weinbergen gelegen, sind die Schl\u00f6sser zudem von einem englischen Landschaftsgarten und einem franz\u00f6sischen Barockgarten umgeben.<\/p>\n<h3>Die drei Dornburger Schl\u00f6sser<\/h3>\n<p>Die drei Schl\u00f6sser aus unterschiedlichen Epochen laden zu einer spannenden Zeitreise ein.
